Susan Jacobsen

I have been taking photos since the early seventies. While attending Penn State I took a photography course and loved it. My degree is in Rehabilitation Education and I have worked with people with disabilities for part of my work life.. I also worked for about 8 years with the Demarais Studio. Here we produced intaglio relief prints of the late Joe Demarais as well as calendars and other publications.  This was really my art education.

During this time I had show at Ellarslie in Trenton and well as participating in curated shows for Womanspace, Mercer County Photography Exhibits and Eyes on Trenton. More recently I had local shows at Mercer County Library In Ewing and Lawrenceville as well as Ewing Muncipal building. Lately my work was included at the Mercer County Photography Exhibit at the Pennington School. Photography tools have changed greatly over my life, which makes producing a new photo even more exciting.
