Jessie Lee Kent - Mixed Media

Jessie works with a multitude of materials – ink, paint, leaves, wax, cut paper, wood, clay, glue. Her paintings are abstract layers of texture - built up and carved away. Her ink work ranges from simple line drawings to intricately detailed explosions of doodles.

Her most current work explores her love for birds and her fascination with the ladder. Building tiny wooden ladders – sometimes hundreds at a time, she experiments with various techniques in these miniature creations
